Update 6/22

The Frozen Force landed in Urbana-Champaign where they'll spend the night. The girls managed to make it through Arkadelphi and Warrensburg. Next stop, Murfreesboro, TN!

They were rocking their awesome polos compliments of Rockwell Collins. We are so thankful for all the encouragement everyone from that company gives. Joel, a UND alum who works for Rockwell Collins, is on our forecasting team. He is one of our biggest supporters and we are lucky to have him on our team!

Update 6/21- Evening

After a long day of flying the girls ended up staying in Midland, TX for the night. They made it safely and decided not to press on to Waco just to be sure they maintain Day VFR per the race rules.

Update 6/21- Midday

Okay Everyone! Here we go!

It's been an exciting last 24 hours. At around 7:00 PM, a microburst hit the Prescott airport. A representative from each team was called out to inspect the aircraft. Luckily, we only needed to fix our tail tie down hook. It's been repaired, paperwork complete, and we are ready to race!

This morning we had our final safety briefing, checked the route one last time, and packed up the airplane.

A little before 2pm we reached stop one, cleaned the airplane, took a break and off we go again!

Update 6/20 â€‹

Another day of breifings down. Race tomorrow. We got this.

Update 6/18

Today was full of good food, good people, and long briefings. We had our very first breifing on the race today. Afterwards we had the Start Banquet and some of the best food ever!

Thank You Rockwell Collins!

We want to give a HUGE thank you to our awesome sponsor Rockwell Collins who generously donated to our team again this year! Without them none of this would be possible.

Update  6/16- Evening

The Frozen Force left bright and early from Pueblo, CO and made their way down to Albuquerque, NM to stop for a much deserved lunch break. On their way to Prescott they got to fly in the mountains which is rare for ND pilots! The girls made it safe and sound and are all ready for the race to start. Follow us on snapchat to get live updates!
